Decoration Monster marks Rose For Bohdan's (R4B) fourth exploration into the dark limbo of hip-hop, punk, and IDM. Decoration Monster is R4B's most unified album, combining the computer slickness of Major Label Drugs with the deconstructionalist and drone approach of Best Thesis For A Suicide Note. Meanwhile, their love for 50s pop melodies, and a disturbingly cute boy/girl vocal trade off, gives all the dissonance, distortion and drone a similar nostalgic feel as a song heard
over the hiss of AM radio.  A slew of home-made, modified,
and bent electronics into the rhythmic waves upon which Brian's catchy basslines ride. Then, to give everything a twist of happiness, Grace and Brian duet hooks that sound
innocent and fun... until you decipher the lyrics.
