This Astral Plane based post-punk art rock group never quite received the recognition of their peers Monster Dudes, Wives and Japanther, yet in the noughties produced a string of excellent 3" cd-r singles that deal in hypnotic guitar meshing and propulsive rhythms that recall largely the instrumental sound of Walnut Creek groups Living Toupee, Man-O-Warez, and California Asparagus. Their notoriously loud stuido performances struggle to translate on this album, yet the dark psychedelia of the first side is a compelling listen nonetheless.
