Tiny Zine on Foot Village's first
demo cdr:
Foot Village just makes sense.
FV is about as stripped down as hardcore can get. Using only their vocal
chords and what sounds like fifty drum sets (it's actually 4), FV blasts
through five reports that sound super loud at any volume. And that's
exactly what they have, reports, not songs. FV is going to become it's
own country one day, so it is collecting data from several other
countries, hence the names of the tracks on this being, "Korea", "Isle
of Man", "Iran", "Antarctica", and "Ethiopia".
The reason I say FV makes sense, is because this is what I, and many
others, love about hardcore and punk rock music. Its a non-stop mish
mash of screaming and chanting, coupled with dancy, tribal, and even
sometimes blastbeat-esque drums.
Everybody who hears this is gonna freak out.
